Episode 55
Mirrored Reflections with Charles Higgins
In this week's episode, Stacy has a compelling conversion with Charles Higgins about dealing with trauma in and out of prison and his current books, Wordplay: Poetry of a King and Reflections: A Memoir of Unity Calls.
Charles, also known as Chip, is currently incarcerated in one of the most roughest prison systems in America. He is an individual who struggled with many dark alleys, and despite his current circumstances, he has found enlightenment in the path of Kingism, which he has written books on; "Word Play: The Poetry of a King", which is poetic justice for those with an ear to the art of hip-hop, and "Reflections: A Memoir of Unity Calls", which is his first memoir. In Reflections, Charles describes the lessons that were taught over that period of time to encompass Love, something in his religion which is to be displayed in actions as well as words.
